Welcome to VäteThis site is about a small parish on the west countryside of Gotland. Gotland is the largest island in Sweden. The people who lives in Väte are farmers or have own companys or work somewhere else. There is more than 360 people living in Väte. The children goes to scool in the neighbour parish called Hejde. |
TourismWe love when tourists visit our island. We have a special home made bear called "Gotlandsdricke". There is a museum whith an old watermill and an old farm called Norrbys. We have a countryshop. The parish church was buildt in the 11th century and have beautiful wallpaintings and sculptures.
